Tag Merit League goes International

Tag rugby league is still expanding outside the TML but that doesn't mean we can't get involved. Through 2008 teams from TML will compete in friendlies and exhibitions all over the UK against teams outside the rugby league heartlands.

As the league expands we are hoping to form the first ever Great Britain Tag team so watch this space.

On the 29th March 2008, Halifax Community RL will be travelling to South Wales to the Brewery Fields to play a Celtic Crusaders Select VII in a curtain raiser for the National League clash between Celtic Crusaders and Halifax RLFC.

On the 5th May 2008, Rochdale Swarm will take on The Rochdale Fijian Association, this game is a curtain raiser for when Rochdale Hornets taken on Hunslet Hawks.
